Global Mental Health Projekte

Der Global Health Hub des Deutschen Zentrums für Psychische Gesundheit vernetzt alle internationalen Projekte. Das Ziel ist es, von den Erfahrungen im globalen Süden zu lernen, wie soziale und humanitäre Ansätze in den jeweiligen Gemeinden verankert werden können. Zudem soll der Austausch von Betroffenen, Angehörigen sowie Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftlern gefördert werden. Koordiniert wird der Global Health Hub von Prof. Dr. Dr. Andreas Heinz (Standort Tübingen) und Prof. Dr. Andreas Meyer-Lindenberg (Standort Mannheim-Heidelberg-Ulm).

Technology-facilitated gender based violence and mental health among young adults Heidi Stöckl

A mixed-method study investigating the prevalence of various forms of technology-facilitated gender-based violence among young adult college students in Tanzania, as well as its association with mental health issues and the social well-being of victims. This study will be followed by a systematic review to explore the broader context of technology-facilitated gender-based violence in sub-Saharan Africa and other low- and middle-income countries.
