The research presented at rtFIN is based on a constantly growing understanding of how the brain works. It is driven by the latest developments in brain imaging and novel data analysis tools. We are gaining a better understanding of how closed-loop brain training can help people learn new skills, improve their resilience, and treat mental illness. Basic, methodological, and applied research will be highlighted. The pre-conference workshops will be held on November 3-4 in cooperation with CUBEX by NEXT MANNHEIM. The workshops offer a unique opportunity to learn from experts in the field. Visit the conference website at www.rtfin2024.org for more information.
Keynotes will be given by world-leading experts in the fields of Brain-Computer Interface (Andrea Kübler, University of Würzburg), fMRI (Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging) Neurofeedback (Allison Adcock, Duke University), and Closed-Loop Brain Stimulation (Surjo Soekadar, Charité Berlin). The latest research will be presented in symposia, oral, and poster sessions.
Due to its relatively young age (12 years of conference history with 5 previous conferences in the USA, Japan, Switzerland and the Netherlands) and its interdisciplinary focus, rtFIN is known for its international, dynamic, and collegial atmosphere. Supported by an active community of researchers, rtFIN attracts participants from all over the world: both established and early career scientists. With around 250 participants, the conference is a place to learn about the latest research, network, discuss projects with potential sponsors, and meet relevant companies.
Registration will open in January 2024 and submissions will be accepted in February via the website www.rtfin2024.org. Researchers, exhibitors, and interested parties can find more information there.
