During the two-day event, the participants not only gained an insight into the current projects. During a scientific speed networking session, they also discussed new opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration. They also debated how to translate their research mission into patient benefit - and how to translate results into therapeutic practice as quickly as possible.
At the end of the retreat, the DZPG Bochum-Marburg partner site awarded two poster prizes. In the field of clinical child and adolescent psychology, Lina Neuhoff (Research and Treatment Center for Mental Health (FBZ)/Ruhr University Bochum) was awarded for her poster entitled "Development of an instrument for the assessment of early life stress". Ruth Schäfers (Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health - BAuA) received the Poster Prize in the Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy category for her contribution entitled "Discriminant Analysis: Working Conditions and Depressive Symptoms".
