The shared trip provided an opportunity to fully immerse in the topic of psychiatric research, engage in discussions, and exchange ideas in a relaxed environment. In addition, the symposium also focused on getting to know one another better and building connections—also to strengthen identification with DZPG as a (research) community.
There was a wealth of input through a series of presentations. Key program highlights included the presentation of infrastructures, scientific projects, and thematic lectures. The program was rounded off with an outlook on the future developments and objectives of the Munich–Augsburg site in the coming years. In this context, there was in-depth discussion about what DZPG stands for and what role it aims to take on in the future.
Overall, the two days were full but inspiring, and participants returned to Munich with many new impressions and visions for the future work of DZPG.
