The award-winning project,“ich bin alles”, was developed in collaboration with the Beisheim Foundation. It is an evidence-based and thoroughly evaluated digital information portal that provides children, adolescents, and their parents with accessible knowledge about depression and mental health. The website, ich-bin-alles.de, offers resources on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of depression, utilizing a mix of videos, podcasts, and comprehensible texts. By doing so, the portal is specifically designed for children and adolescents, their parents, as well as professionals in educational and family settings.
The project “ich bin alles” has three clear objectives: to increase awareness about depression in childhood and adolescence, including appropriate prevention and treatment options; to strengthen mental health and encourage help-seeking behaviors; and to destigmatize mental health conditions to foster openness in dealing with psychological challenges.
In addition to the website, content is also tailored for social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok to reach even more young people and their families. Through their work, Prof. Dr. Greimel and Prof. Dr. Schulte-Körne are making a valuable contribution to promoting the mental health of children and adolescents.
